CEFSD Chapter Prayer Needs September 2025​​

MONDAY (DIRECTOR, COORDINATORS, STAFF & COMMITTEE)

​

1. Wayne - Wisdom in choosing the best remedy to address the cyst found in his gum

2. Ann – Strength to get in and out of her wheelchair safely. Upcoming Cataract surgery 

3. Don – Continued healing and recovery mercies for his recent knee surgery

4. Cookie- Continued Rehab for Healing of Hand Surgery

5. Strategy and Wisdom for our State Director, Pastor Scott Julian, and Matt Staver of Liberty Counsel, in preparing an appeal to Southern California School Districts to grant access to schools for Good News Clubs. (At present, Ericson, Hickman, and Veterans are stating that they are unable to accommodate our requests for rooms for Thursday Clubs)

6. Karin, Alma, and Heidi – Good Health and Strength as they Coordinate their respective GNC areas

TUESDAY (MAILBOX CLUB)

​

1. Current Mailbox Club Participants to continue growing & keep up with their lessons

2. That the new members would receive the Lord Jesus if they haven’t done so already

WEDNESDAY (TEACHERS And CLUBS)

​

1. 2025-26 Teacher Training Starting September 9th – Successful presentations

2. Hage Elementary Good News Kids to memorize all 8 verses to be awarded a Bible

3. Walker Elementary starting September 18th - Pray for the Teaching Team and Kids

4. Training of New Teachers for Church of The Good Shepherd NEW Fall Good News Clubs

5. Hickman & Veteran’s Elementary - For rooms to open up to continue Good News Club

6. Salk and Wolf Canyon Elementary - Continued Open Doors for GNC – room assignments pending

7. Ericson Elementary – Principal’s approval of a teacher’s offer of her room for GNC

8. Candice – Wisdom for deciding best form of treatment options of ongoing hip pain

9. Heidi – Relief from Back Pain -Spinal surgery scheduled for September 24th

THURSDAY (OUTREACHES)

1. South Bay CEF Seminar Curriculum Training: 9/12,13,20th & 5-day Club Training: 9/29- 10/03

2. Volunteers needed to set up/tear down CEF Booth at Mira Mesa Street Fair October 4th

FRIDAY (BANQUET)

​

1. For 100% attendance of guest reservations for 16 Tables  

2. Sufficient funds to cover event & commitment for ongoing monthly support

3. Good health for the Speakers, Volunteers, and Attendees

4. Effective Presentation by Pastors Tom & Wayne  

 

PRAISES!

 

1. Wayne was given an accurate diagnosis of his ongoing dental pain!

2. Cookie is doing well in her hand surgery rehab!

3. Don has progressed in bearing weight on his knee replacement; he is awaiting a new brace to improve his mobility!

4. Hage Elementary Good News Club has started with 15 students! All new students have accepted Christ!

5. 16 Tables with 130 Guests RSVP’d for upcoming Banquet!

6. 16 Students have graduated from TCE 1 in the Spanish Ministry!

7. CEF Booth application for Mira Mesa Street Fair Approved!
